Adr_Book 1.0 for WINDOWS
-------------------------------------
TABLE OF CONTENTS
-----------------
1. What is Adr_Book
2. Installation
3. Files on the Disk
4. Why Register?
1. What is Help Edit
---------------------
Adr_Book is a simple database program that prints a very handy address
booklet, mailing labels, envelopes, and several reports.
The address booklet is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. A perfect size for your
own personal address book, but also great for organizations, clubs, and
churches.
The mailing labels can be printed by zip code order and with all capital
letters for the name and address. Perfect for saving money on bulk mail
rates.
The envelopes can be printed in three popular sizes. The postnet code
can be printed. Different fonts and point sizes can be specified for the
return address and addressee.
2. INSTALLATION
----------------
To perform the installation insert the floppy in drive A or B and run
INSTALL from Windows.
If all of the files are currently on your hard drive you can still
install the program by running the INSTALL.EXE from Windows.
3. FILES ON THE DISK(S).(Registered Version)
---------------------------------------------
INSTALL EXE - Windows Install Program
INSTALL INF - Windows Install Script file
ADRBOOK EXE - Adr_Book executable
README TXT - This file
ADRBOOK HLP - Adr_Book Help
SAMPLE ADR - Sample database file
ADRBOOK WRI - Tutorial document ( read this )
4. Why Register?
----------------
Registering brings with it a number of advantages.
First of all you will not have to use the Import work around to add more
than 50 records to the database. You won't get the nag dialog box
when you start Adr_Book.
You will feel better. (maybe)
You will have supported Alaska Software Development, which is mostly
non existant save data processing at the local banks.
And most importantly if I can afford to take Alberta out to dinner,
she just might not think this was a colossal waste of time.
